I love the parallels between Stefan and Caroline. They had and still have similar experiences. They were both treated like puppets by Katherine and Damon. Stefan died because of Katherine and Caroline was killed by Katherine. When their parents found out they were vampires they both refused them. Giuseppe and Liz didn’t consider them as their children anymore. They had the same vision about vampires. Stefan and Caroline were both tortured in different occasions. Stefan was tortured in s1 by the vampires of the tomb and Caroline was tortured by the werewolves in s2. This season they were both tortured by the people they love in the same cellar. Richard and Lexi/Elena tried to fix them. Of course for different reasons, but they were trying to “save” them. Stefan and Caroline refer to themselves as monsters because of their vampire nature. I think they can undestand each other on many levels. That’s why she knows she can trust Stefan about anything. And that’s why he doesn’t want Caroline to pretend with him. They appear to be really different: he’s broody, rational and introvert; she’s sunny, impulsive and funny, but they both care deeply for the ones they love. They constantly worry about others and they always try to help them. They both have big hearts.

I just am in awe of some of these concert photos.  They are so powerful…to see so many people full of a similar emotion…participating in a display of art that cannot be complete without them.  It makes my heart swell.
